WŁÓCZNIK W BAŁTYKU
4 listopada 2005 09:03 30-kilogramowego włócznika o długości półtora metra złowili rybacy z Unieścia.
W środę, 2 listopada, rano rybacy postawili pół mili morskiej od brzegu sieci dorszowe, a gdy wyciągali je w czwartek, znaleźli w nich niespotykaną na Bałtyku rybę. Początkowo podejrzewali, że to marlin, ale po wstępnej analizie uznano rybę za włócznika. Ryba została przewieziona do portowej chłodni w Kołobrzegu. Mają ją stamtąd zabrać naukowcy z Morskiego Instytutu Rybactwa w Gdyni.Włócznik śródziemnomorski (Tetrapterus belone) to drapieżna ryba o wydłużonym torpedowatym ciele. Jej ciało pokrywają głęboko osadzone w skórze łuski.
Długość: 2 - 5m masa 60-200 kg poluje do 800m
Włócznik żyje w Morzu Śródziemnym i jest spokrewniony z marlinem, który żyje w Atlantyku. Pstrągi osiągają szybkość do 35 km/h, łososie 39 km/h. Najszybszymi rybami są: tuńczyk 75 km/h, marlin 80 km/h, włócznik 90 km/h.
